Yaaldevi Blog Aggregator which provides a platform for Sri Lankan Tamil community spread across the world to meet online. It has proved to be very popular so far with over 500 bloggers currently active on the website

Yaaldevi has received E-Swabhimani award from ICTA, Srilankan Government.

The e-Swabhimani 2010 award winners were declared at the Award Gala on Tuesday, 09th November 2010 at Atrium Lobby- Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.

Yaal devi - the Queen from Jaffna. To most of us Yaal Devi is synonymous with the railway track that joins the North and South of the Country – a bonding of to communities. It offers a platform for Tamil bloggers from all parts of the world to publish articles, communicate and express ideas. An SMS alert on the site permits users to share article with friends. Digital yaal devi has the potential to grow to be a meeting point for the Tamil community from all over the world.
Yaaldevi has received the award under e-News category and the event headed by Hon Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
